Print Process
All of Atarah’s fine art prints start first by exposing light to film. Once the shot’s been taken on either 35mm or 120mm film its processed by Picture House Darkroom in Manhattan. Atarah then picks up the developed film and scans it herself using her Epson v700 flat bed scanner. Once the digital files are just right, she’ll then work closely with her printer at Brooklyn Editions to make the perfect print.
All images are Fine Art Glicée prints on Hahnemühle Photograg Ultrasmooth Archival paper, known for its exceptional color accuracy, smooth graduations and incredible ability to retain fine detail.
Every print is paired with a Certificate of Authenticity, and hand signed by Atarah, with limited editions prints also receiving a series number.
If you’ve ordered framing, your image will then be delicately framed, always with UV shielding plexiglass, acid-free mats, archival acid-free foam core backing and exceptional wooden frame moldings.
