ABOUT THE SERIES:
With this series, I wanted to explore the idea of metaphorical self portraits within a still life. I’ve always resinated with pearls, feeling a kinship to the harsh reality of how they come to be - something at first seen as unwanted and a waste, eventually becoming something polished and beautiful. These soft curated moments are a conversation on how I see myself at different stages in my life.
